Altavia is an independent international group specializing in commercial communication for brands. The mission was to create an interactive tool that allows all professions to intervene in the organization of commercial operations. From budget simulation to production. An brand like Super U will thus gain productivity in the context of its orders and budget management.


Challenge

Create a web app for managing commercial operations ranging from creation, through operation settings to optimization of the budget allocated to the operation. It is essential to remove the involvement of a third party for budget setting, so as to make the distribution teams of the brand autonomous through a clear path.


Problematic

The existing process took place in 3 steps: Information, Products, and Follow-up. The various versions of products, delivery address, quantity were all included in a single step. This made completion long and impractical when you have ten or more products. And how to include budget management which is the central functionality of PAC?


Research

The Information - Products - Progress stages have been reorganized into Information - Products - Versions / Quantities and Delivery. The user thus focuses on selecting and configuring the product, then the delivery, and finally the production. This avoids the format of a single page by streamlining the ordering process.


The product stage has 2 tabs: Products and Configuration. The user first focuses on adding products (flyers, etc.) before configuring them all in the second tab.


In the Configuration tab, the user will find the added products in the left sidebar. Selecting a product displays its configuration in the center that will affect the budget of the company. The summary of the configuration is located in the right sidebar, which allows the user to definitively validate it.


Production

1 - Estimation calculation

A product can have different versions. These versions will be used during an estimate calculation export: version A versus version B.


2 - Estimate export

An Excel document will be exported for the profession to establish a budgetary comparison of products.


3- Planning

The user also has a view of all commercial operations created for the distribution brand.

Result

My role in this Altavia project was to establish a clear process for creating commercial operations, from information creation to product configuration and production. The client can create different versions of a product and establish a budgetary comparison using a proposed Excel export. It becomes autonomous and no longer needs an intermediary to achieve this budgeting.
